Do I need a visa to enter Egypt?
Most likely yes, but it does depend on your nationality. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date. Getting a visa to Egypt is easy—here are your options:
OPTION 1: E-Visa (Recommended) >
Apply online before your trip on https://visa2egypt.gov.eg.
The cost is $25 (single entry) or $60 (multiple entry). The processing time is 3–5 business days. It is valid for 90 days from issue, with a 30-day stay. You will need a valid passport for 6+ months and a credit/debit card for payment.
OPTION 2: Visa on Arrival >
Get your visa when you land in Egypt/ It is available at Cairo International Airport and other major entry points
Cost: $25 USD CASH ONLY (bring exact amount). You will need a valid passport (minimum 6 months).
Note: This option can take longer due to airport lines, so the e-visa is often quicker and smoother.
Are children allowed at the wedding?
Due to limited seating, we're only able to accomodate the specific guests named on the invitation. If you have a child who is not listed on your invite, we kindly ask that you notify us in the RSVP to make alternate arrangements for childcare at the hotel during the celebration.
Will there be a gift registry or preferred method of gifting?
We appreciate your presence at our wedding the most. Monetary gifting known as “naqout” are customary in our traditions. For your convenience, we've set up a cash fund under the Gifting section of this website. If you'd like to give a card, you're welcome to mail it to our home—just ask us for the address. Either way, your attendance is what truly matters to us.
